Although summer can be a busy season for hanging out with friends or vacationing with family, it can also be a great time to pressure wash your home! If you’re trying to plan a good time to pressure wash your home, here are 3 reasons why you should do it in the summer. Rain Results In Mold And Mildew This summer has been especially rainy here in the Lowcountry. Although rain is good in moderation, too much of it can cause a great deal of mold and mildew to build up around the outside of your home. Pressure washing can take care of this issue and help prevent hazardous ventilation issues in your house. More Hours Of Daylight During the summer, the sun rises earlier and sets later. This means that there are more hours of daylight and more time to schedule a pressure wash from your home. If you want to tackle the task on your own, you can do it after you get off of work without worrying about running out of daylight. But if you want a professional to do the job for you, there’s a possibility that they might also have extended hours during the summer!

Everybody loves to save money, and the first place a lot of people look when thinking about saving money is where they can cut unnecessary costs. This may mean looking to do some things themselves that they ordinarily pay others to do for them, like cleaning their house. Or in some other cases, it may mean simply finding the cheapest bidder for such tasks. Trust us when we say, power washing your home is not one of these tasks. Power washing your home is not something you should try yourself or leave to the lowest bidder; it’s something that needs to be done right, every time. Otherwise, you may wind up spending a lot more money to fix problems with your house than we charge to power wash it.The body content of your post goes here. The concept of cold weather is always relative. Depending on where you live, “cold” temperatures could mean anything from below 60 degrees Fahrenheit to below 20. When it comes to power washing your home or place of business, though, the key temperature to keep in mind is 32 degrees Fahrenheit- the point at which water turns to ice. However, 32 degrees Fahrenheit itself is not the only way to gauge if it’s too cold to perform a power washing service. The wind chill is a factor, too, and if the temperature is anywhere close to 32 degrees Fahrenheit, there’s a legitimate risk that the wind chill could bring down the temperature surrounding the power washing tools and the house to below the point of freezing- and that would have the same effect. To be on the safe side, and to protect both your house and our equipment, we don’t especially recommend having your house power washed in temperatures any less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. With that said, it still is theoretically possible to power wash your home in cold weather. Here are some of the risks to be aware of:

The holiday season is fast approaching, and that means many things. For starters, it means that an abundance of delicious food, reconnecting with relatives, and taking time to enjoy life with those who mean the most to you will soon be upon you. But at least in terms of your house, it means one thing in particular. For one occasion or another, you are likely soon going to be welcoming friends and relatives into your home. On top of that, the weather is getting colder throughout the United States of America- yes, even in the southeast. And that means it’s the last truly great chance you’ll have to power wash your house for a few months.
